The Past and This

A poem that words the feelings that the mind feels in the wee hours when midnight drags the darkness within and there’s a silence without.
The wordings suggest the past has had moments where an individual is at its worst and the heart will carry forward the substantial feeling of being lonely even if the mind is with a crowd but still the eyes look for a reason to be alive.
