Further Stories From the Jatakas (5 in 1) is a compilation of five titles Battle of Wits, Deadly feast, Hidden Treasure, True Friends, and Nandi Vishala. Jatakas refer to literature native to India concerning the previous births of Buddha. These stories are about the previous lives of the Buddha, in human and animal form. Siddhartha went through numerous births as a Bodhisattva to later become the Buddha. He was born in many forms � man, monkey, elephant, deer and lion and in each form he lived a life of virtue and compassion. This book will be an engaging and enthralling read for young readers.
