But first, what are NFTs? NFT stands for non-fungible token, where non-fungible means unique and irreplaceable by something identical. Not only is NFT a unique digital asset, but its ownership is also recorded on a blockchain (which essentially works like a ledger of transactions). So, each time an NFT sells, it is recorded on the blockchain, therefore tracking ownership.

And what benefit do NFTs hold for artists and writers? So what if your content gets multiplied a million times without losing its originality and each time it is sold or resold or traded, you get paid. It records every sale on a blockhain marking the original creator of the content and at the same time enables payment per sale or transfer.
