The Kolkata Diaries - When it seems a little bit sweet or rather more salty!!

Write your best drama fictional short stories or poetry on an open theme and get curated for publications with Press Release, Book placement at our upcoming store (by Sept22) and Photoshoot & Physical Book Launch at Taj Vivanta, Kolkata on 24th July.

Those unable to join in person will be notified via email or online for the deliveries.

And the best writer wins an Amazon Kindle Device facilitated during the book launch!!

How to submit?

a. Write your fictional drama - short story between 1,000 and 8,000 words or poetry between 800 and 4,000 words and upload your manuscript here (by 31st May) after registering here which is a mandatory step.

b. Content should be in English or Bengali only.

c. Content maybe published elsewhere earlier but author should have the rights to his/her content.

You may register now and block your slots for the Early Bird and submit later on or before the given due date.

We will curate content on a rolling process as and when they come in.

The "works" would be placed in anthology/collections to be produced as books.

For Participants,

1. Published, distributed and promoted by us as Paperbacks, Hardbacks and eBooks worldwide with equal share of royalty paid to authors on sale.

2. Grand launch at Taj Vivanta, Kolkata (with In-Person registration) on 24th July

3. Paperbacks will be placed on display for sales at our upcoming physical store (stated to open by Aug'22) in Golpark, Kolkata. 

4. Press Release on FOX, NBC and 190+ other channels.

5. Best Writer will receive Amazon Kindle Device facilitated at the venue.

Fee Structure:

Online - Includes online participation for Book Launch only.

Grand Networking Lunch - Includes Book Launch + Solstice Marketplace + Networking Lunch

Content containing calls to violence or insults to any social groups will not be included!
