Stories to Theatre

This is a collaborative project in groups of 5 or 6 to create a common story and perform on stage.

Process and Rules 

- Register here so that we can form a collaborative team to work upon the story and the theatre art further

- We will form a WA group for the collab and faster communication

- Authors maybe willing to act or get another performer to act in the story each playing a character in the story

- Authors of 1 project need to be in Kolkata for rehearsals or performances

- Each story may have not more than 5 or 6 characters at max

- Performing Arts/ Theatre within 30mins only per collaborative storyline

- Audition of all actors are mandatory - This can be done online via Google Meet

- The book needs to be produced along with theatre performance in Solstice 2023 (Theatre performance would be tentatively in ICCR, Kolkata in June)

- Final actors/contributors would get prime visibility with promotions, emailers, creative artworks & photography of the event

- Books are to be placed in the venue for the same storyline for sales and display accordingly and thereafter sold and published with royalty as per regular publishing processes

You may register before 30th April so that we can start forming the collaborative groups and working on the projects.

Decisions pertaining to the selection of final entries will be made by Ukiyoto's editorial team.
