Lit-Trail- A Walk in the Literary Lanes of Kolkata

We have collaborated with WalkCalcuttaWalk to bring you an unforgettable experience. With Lit Trail, you will get to explore the lanes and by lanes of South Calcutta with a sip of heritage via storytelling and street food and fall in love with Matir Bharer Cha (ভারের চা), tea in earthen cups.

The walk will cover bits of Literary and Cultural influences in the Southern neighbourhood of Kolkata where eminent personalities such as Satyajit Ray, Nabanita Debsen, Suniti Chatterjee, and Buddhadeb Basu, in the fields of literature, film and music used to stay. And not to mention of course stories from Feluda and Bomkyesh Bakshi.

The walking tour itinerary and inclusions:

• Enjoy the visual storytelling remembering the rich legacy, including stories of fictional & non fictional characters and fun quizzes.
• Tea and breakfast from roadside street shops, as we strongly believe that's the part of Kolkata one shouldn't miss.
• Starting Time: 8:30 AM, 18th February 
• Meeting Point: In front of Menoka Cinema Hall.
• End Point: Near Gariahat.
• Approximate time: 2 hours.

Due to the limited size of the group, the bookings will be made on a first come first serve basis. Prices are inclusive of all taxes.
