About the Event
"It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge"
Build the road and show the light.
This production series is targetted at teachers, guides, social workers, philanthropists and any individual who wishes to 'create light' by guiding or mentoring others.
What do you need to do?
If you are a teacher in a primary school and you see talented kids with excellent imaginations and a strong affinity to writing, let them pen down their expressions and you mentor their writings to get published
If you are a college teacher of science, arts, culture or anything related you may get few of your students to bring about an excellent cultural satire or a political comedy
It you are working in an NGO or any social sector and connect with students or workers from the less fortunate background with strong imaginations or brilliant stories to tell, encourage them to write them down while you streamline and mentor their work to get them published
If you are an indivudal looking to encourage studies and education among children and youth of your nation, get your hands together to mentor a 'budding writer'. Who knows he may even be the son or daughter of your driver or worker.
Stages of Submission
a. You need to first identify who you would mentor - whether a single student in your class or a group of individuals or anyone related who you think may require guidance and encourage to bring out brilliant content
b. You or your chosen mentee or mentees are free to write on any open topic on any genre except religion and erotica
c. Guide your mentees to write on their chosen topic which maybe a series of independant short stories or poerty forming an anthology or one single script forming a novel
d. Check the final draft, revise and bring it to publishing standards before submission
e. Total word count is between 4,000 to 15,000 words for poetry and 8,000 to 30,000 words for the rest
f. Email us (email@example.com) the entire script in a word file along with all the author's names and high resolution images. Mentioning authors' profiles are optional and upto you.
What do Mentors and Authors get?
All selected participants shall have their book published, distributed and promoted by us worldwide with equal share of royalty to be paid to authors and mentors. All titles would be published in paperback, hard case and ebook formats. Mentors shall have their due credits inside the published titles along with the authors.
Terms and Conditions
- Participants can be from anywhere across the world with a minimum age limit of 8 years
- The name of the title will not be "Expressio" but individual title names as given by the mentor
- Each mentor shall have a separate title to his name or in other words each submission from a mentor shall be formed into a separate title and would not be merged with the other
- The titles will be published on a rolling basis as and when they are completed
